Install Procedure
The Smart Share Application allows you to install procedures that have been shared by other Maintenance Connection organizations. Once a procedure has been installed, it will be available to view or modify like any other procedure.
When filtered to display Procedures, the Smart Share window lists all procedures available for sharing. Procedures marked with a are available for installation. Procedures marked with a
are already installed on your system.
Install an available procedure:

Select System > Smart Share Manager from the Main Menu.
The Smart Share window opens, displaying reports that have been shared by the community.

Click Procedures in the Smart Share Modules pane.

Click the appropriate group in the Groups pane to filter the results further.

Use the Alpha tabs to search for a procedure of a particular name.

Click the procedure you want.

Click View.
A window opens providing information about the procedure.

If you want to change the title of the procedure as it will appear in your system, modify the title.
Remember the title given to the procedure so that you can find it in the Procedure List after installation. You may want to prefix the name with something that can be easily searched, such as your name or the word Shared.

Click the Install Procedure button.
The window closes and you the Smart Share window opens. The installed procedure should now have the Installed icon
.

Click Close.
The MRO Work Center appears.

Open the Procedures module by clicking the Open icon on the toolbar and then selecting Procedures from the Module menu.
The Procedure Module opens, listing procedures in the List Pane. Locate the newly installed procedure by using the filter and search options.
The installed procedure is stripped of any organization-specific data. You typically need to modify the procedure to ensure it is applied to the correct records at your organization.
